Ingredients
- 3/4 cup French-style yogurt
- 1/2 cup mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
- 1–2 teaspoons honey
- 1/4 cup Pho’nomenal Jackfruit Chips, lightly crushed
There's a version of breakfast that looks effortless and actually is. This is that version.
The idea came from a simple question: what happens if you use jackfruit chips where granola usually goes? The answer is better than expected. Pho'nomenal Jackfruit Chips crushed over whole milk yogurt bring a crunchy, lightly tropical layer that granola has been trying to achieve for years — without the clumped oats, without the excessive sugar, and with a flavor that actually tastes like something.
Layered with fresh mango, a drizzle of honey, and a little lime zest to keep it bright, this parfait comes together in five minutes and looks like it took longer. It's the kind of thing you make once and then keep making because it's just that easy to reach for.
Why French Yogurt
French-style yogurt is made with whole milk and set in the jar, which gives it a creamier, slightly looser texture than Greek yogurt. It's tangy without being sharp, rich without being heavy. If you can find a good whole milk French yogurt at your grocery store, use it here. Full-fat Greek yogurt works just as well if that's what you have — the texture will be a little thicker and the result is equally good.
The yogurt is the base, so quality matters. The better the yogurt, the better the parfait.
The Jackfruit Chip Layer
This is the part that changes the whole thing. Pho'nomenal Jackfruit Chips have a natural sweetness and a chewy-crisp texture that holds up in a way that most granola doesn't. Crushed lightly — not pulverized, just broken into pieces — they create a layer with real textural variation. Some bites are crunchy. Some have a little chew. All of it works against the cold, creamy yogurt.
The trick is to crush them gently in your hands or still in the bag, then add them right before serving. They'll soften over time, so this one's best eaten immediately — though the components can be prepped ahead and assembled when you're ready.

The Fruit and the Finish
Fresh mango is the natural pairing here — its sweetness echoes the jackfruit and keeps the whole bowl feeling tropical without being heavy-handed. Sliced strawberries, fresh pineapple, or ripe peaches all work well depending on the season.
The lime zest at the end is not optional. It lifts everything. Don't skip it.
A pinch of flaky salt is worth it if you like the sweet-salty thing. A few fresh mint leaves make it look and taste more intentional. Neither is required. Both are good.
